東北・山形出身在住のシンガーソングライター。ニューヨークやジャマイカでの海外経験からR&BやReggaeを融合した新たなポップミュージックスタイルで老若男女、幅広い層から支持を得る。
2014年に地元のクラブで歌ったことをきっかけにシンガーとしてのキャリアをスタート。
2016年にリリースされた1st Single「負けたくない」がiTunesレゲエチャート1位を記録。その後、本場ジャマイカに渡り現地の音楽に触れ、2019年に1st EP「MOVEMENT」をリリース。山形市のシンボルでもある国の重要文化財 “文翔館” にて開催された自身初のワンマンライブでは会場を満員に埋め尽くした。
同年放送された日テレ系音楽番組 “バズリズム02” では、6th Single「たわごと」のMVがピックアップされ、あの人ランキング玉城ティナ回の1位に選出。
2020年には、東京でのワンマンライブの開催に加え、ファッションブランドへの楽曲提供、大晦日には “CDTVライブ！ライブ！年越しSP” にバックコーラスとして出演するなど幅広い活動を見せた。
2021年、13th Single「ラフランス」をリリース。方言を使用した楽曲としては今までに類を見ないスタイリッシュさで、FM山形のパワープッシュ曲になるなど、地元メディアに多数出演し話題となる。その後、R&Bや本場のエンターテイメントに触れる為ニューヨークに滞在。
2022年9月、これまでの集大成となる1st Full Album「HOME」を発売し、2023年1月にリリースした16th Single「スノーモンスター」は日本と台湾のiTunesレゲエチャート１位を記録。その後、山形では4年ぶりとなるワンマンライブを“山形テルサホール”にて開催し、300人を超えるオーディエンスを迎え、大盛況に終えた。
2023年4月、「FIRST NIGHT」がさくらんぼテレビ “やまがたチョイす” のエンディングテーマに決定。同年「YBC歌唱王」で優勝し、2024年4月よりYBCラジオ番組「ホーカーナインのプラス・ワン・ラブ」が毎週金曜21:15から放送。2024年毎月リリース企画進行中！
HAWKER 9 is a singer who has gained support from a wide range of young and old people with his new pop music style that combines Reggae and R&B, and his live skills that have been acquired in various stages like in clubs, live houses, outdoor festivals, large halls, school festivals and ski resorts.
The 1st single "Maketakunai" released in 2016 topped the iTunes reggae chart. He then went to Jamaica to experience local music and culture. In 2019, the 1st EP "MOVEMENT" was released, and the venue was filled with the first one-man live performance at the important Japanese cultural property "Bunsho-kan," which is also a symbol of Yamagata City.
In the same year, the music video of the 6th single "Tawagoto" was picked up on the Nippon Television music program "Bazurism 02" and selected as the first place in "That Person Ranking (Tamashiro Tina)."
In 2020, he held a one-man live concert in Tokyo, provided music to fashion brands, and on New Year's Eve, he appeared as a back chorus in the New Year's SP of CDTV Live! Live!, and showed a wide range of activities
In 2021, he released her 13th single “La France”, which created a stylish groove that has never been seen in dialects. It became a power push song for FM Yamagata radio, and he appeared in many local media and became a hot topic. After that, he stayed in New York for to experience R&B and real entertainment.
On September 27, 2022, his 1st Full Album “HOME” was finally released (Digital Distribution/CD) and 16th Single “Snow Monster” released in January 2023 topped the iTunes reggae charts in Japan and Taiwan.
In March, he held his first one-man live concert in Yamagata in four years at Yamagata Telsa Hall, and it was a great success with more than 300 audiences. From Apr 2023, “FIRST NIGHT” is being used for the ending song of a TV show in Yamagata.
